Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress, improve daily living skills, and promote positive behavior change. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' growth and development Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence Use evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each individual's needs Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all sessions thoroughly in medical records Support clients during therapy sessions with patience, positive reinforcement, and encouragement to foster a motivating environment Skills Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavioral health strategies Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members effectively Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management techniques compassionately Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and special education settings Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude when working in dynamic environments with diverse needs
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
