Non-Exempt Position Summary Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a dedicated part-time Therapist to join our Outpatient (OP) Services team, working with clients to effectively address Mental Health (MH) and Substance Abuse (SA) issues by providing accessible, client-centered, cost-effective, and quality outcome-based care. The Therapist will provide Mental Health (MH) and Substance Abuse (SA) screenings, assessments, groups, and individual and family psychotherapy to clients ages five (5) through adult. The ideal candidate is outgoing, compassionate, and enjoys working with the public as part of a professional and para-professional team. They collaborate and communicate easily with BCI departments and external stakeholders, multi-task effectively, and maintain a consistently professional demeanor to ensure every client has a positive and helpful therapeutic experience. Master's degree in a related human services field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling), OR a clear and active license in the State of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). ? Must be willing to see clients ages five (5) through adult. ? Must be willing to work with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) clients. ? Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) preferred (not required). Part 2, and BCI policy. ? Ability to display sensitivity to all persons and cultures, including diverse backgrounds, ages, and levels of ability. ? Excellent interpersonal, oral, written communication, and organizational skills.
Duties / Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ? Completes mental health and substance abuse assessments/screenings. ? Responsible for providing individual, family, and/or group therapy services for assigned caseload based upon assessed clinical needs and individualized treatment plans. Completes discharge planning. ? Provides documentation in accordance with BCI policies and procedures in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). ? Contributes to program development and implementation of written and/or verbally directed clinical procedures. ? Participates in mandatory as well as elective educational activities. ? Attends staff meetings and follows all team/program protocols. ? Adheres to universal precautions and other appropriate infection control practices. ? Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills. ? Follows security regulations and policies, with consideration of clinical factors. ? Completes Biopsychosocial Assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and summaries, and attends staff meetings as scheduled. ? Completes chart reviews as required. ?
