Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. As an ABA Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans, assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), and support their overall development through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support clients in achieving their goals. Work closely with children and families to provide tailored therapeutic interventions. Assist clients with ADLs, promoting independence and self-sufficiency. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and care plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize behavioral management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively. Provide education and support to families regarding behavioral health strategies. Experience Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities. Familiarity with special education practices and patient care protocols. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation processes. Previous experience teaching or mentoring individuals in a therapeutic setting is preferred. Knowledge of data collection methods for tracking client progress is essential.
