Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) - Poinciana

Job Overview Molding Minds Behavioral Services is seeking experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As an RBT, you will deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional skills, communication, and socially appropriate behaviors. This role requires a strong commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA . Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy in a safe, positive, and structured environment. Collect, track, and record accurate data on client progress and behavioral outcomes. Maintain clinical session notes and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills. Collaborate with families to reinforce intervention strategies and provide progress updates. Maintain clear and professional communication with the BCBA/BCaBA and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in required training, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism while building rapport with clients. Experience Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly preferred. Familiarity with ABA principles and behavioral intervention techniques. Experience implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Strong data collection and documentation skills. Understanding of healthcare confidentiality and patient care protocols (HIPAA). Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in behavioral health. Qualifications Positive, professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish (required). Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance. Smartphone with internet access. Required Documentation Valid driver's license (copy) Proof of residency Auto insurance card Professional liability insurance Active NPI number Background Screening Requirement Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening , as required for healthcare providers in Florida, through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse .
