St. Augustine, Florida (In-Person Required + Optional Virtual) Job Summary We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor (RMHCI, RCSWI, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) to join our private practice as a part-time 1099 contractor. Ideal candidates are passionate about clinical work, collaborative with team, and client focused. This role offers schedule flexibility but requires some evening and preferred Saturday availability for in-person and virtual sessions. The therapist will also collaborate with other practice providers to ensure holistic patient care and support clients in managing mental health challenges effectively. About Us Ataraxia Counseling is a growing mental health practice located in downtown St. Augustine, FL, specializing in trauma-informed care, individual & couples counseling, adolescent counseling, psychiatry and medication management, and integrative approaches to healing. Who We're Looking For We're seeking a clinician who is: Licensed or pre-licensed in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a private practice setting Warm, motivated, and trauma-informed in their clinical approach Familiarity with crisis management protocols and working with people experiencing trauma or PTSD. Proven experience in clinical mental health counseling within private practice, community practice, outpatient and/or inpatient settings. Interested in working with teens, college students, adults, or couples (specialties encouraged!)
