Make a Difference During the Most Important Years of a Child's Development The Adult and Pediatric Institute is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide outpatient therapy services for children primarily ages 2-10 years and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working with young children while maintaining the flexibility and independence of a contractor role. Our integrated behavioral health practice offers a collaborative environment where therapists work alongside psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, nurses, and autism evaluation providers to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care. Responsibilities Provide individual and family therapy for children primarily under the age of 10. Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychometrists, neuropsychologists, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate care. Provide parent coaching and caregiver education. Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Participate in clinical consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration when appropriate. Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice. Preferred Experience Experience working with children with: Anxiety disorders ADHD Autism Spectrum Disorder Emotional and behavioral regulation challenges Trauma Parent-child relationship concerns Adjustment disorders Experience with play therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), parent coaching, or other evidence-based interventions for young children is highly preferred.
