Temple Terrace, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Working with individuals with developmental disabilities HIPAA Assisting with ADLs Working with children Patient interaction Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and skill acquisition to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in various settings Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding medical records and documentation Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral health interventions and care plans Participate in ongoing training related to behavior management, medical terminology, and special education strategies Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Ability to assist with ADLs and implement care plans effectively in diverse environments Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately Knowledge of medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings Compassionate approach to patient care with patience and strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on behavior management and educational goals This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about supporting behavioral health initiatives.
