We are licensed at the partial hospitalization, outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care, serving adolescent and young adult males with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. Located in West Palm Beach. Salary negotiable based on experience.
LMHC, LMFT, LCSW PREFERRED.
Must have Masters Level Education/at minimum on the path to licensure
REQUIRED.
Trauma certifications & modalities is preferred, not required (new hire will receive trauma training while employed - NARM).
Required:
Previous employment / experience working with co-occurring population, substance use disorder & mental health. Working with adolescents is preferred. Employee must pass a Level II background clearance with the Department of Children & Families. Must be available to work flexible hours. Details upon interview. Job is for a full-time position. 4-day in office work week. Growth available. Daily Job Duties and Requirements:
Maintain a caseload of approximately 8-10 clients Provide individual counseling sessions to clients one (1) time per week Provide family sessions consisting of clinical updates, or family therapy one (1) time per week depending on client case while maintaining appropriate boundaries and providing clinical recommendations Facilitate family breakout sessions in Family Weekend programming as scheduled Facilitate group therapy; conduct educational groups or any other group therapy sessions Facilitate crisis intervention with caseload, contracting, etc. as needed Track client clinical problems or progress in group and report in nightly email Review assessments from referring facilities and note problems/issues that require further attention Gather comprehensive diagnostic information through psychosocial assessment interview Develop an integrated summary, bringing together information from all assessments to identify problem areas that may affect treatment and/or need to be addressed in treatment planning Present psychosocial and diagnostic information to treatment team in a clear and concise manner; advise and direct treatment team as necessary to provide superior care Formulate a comprehensive treatment plan with client that effectively addresses client issues and is completed within established time frame Develop clearly stated treatment goals and objectives that are measurable Develop interventions that will accomplish goals and objectives and state the planned frequency of interventions Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating adequate preparation and understanding of client issues, progress, areas of resistance, positive and negative strategies, etc. Document the client's progress accurately as it relates to treatment goals and objectives Assist clients in gaining processing skills Address problem behaviors Utilize experiential techniques effectively using evidence-based practice Create atmosphere where self-disclosure is facilitated Assist clients with gaining insight into problems and understanding treatment goals Adhere to Code of Ethics and all DCF requirements
