Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy At least 1 year of post-Master's experience providing mental health services for children and/or adolescents Experience utilizing Play and/or Dyadic Therapies with children and their caregivers (Preferred) Training/certification in evidence based treatments including EMDR, Play therapy, ERP, CBT, TFCBT, PCIT, etc. (Preferred)

Pay:

$40-$90 per clinical session depending on licensure (Associate or Independent License)

Acworth, GA Responsibilities:

Complete biopsychosocial need assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Select and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions Provide individual, family, relations and/or group psychotherapy Gather and integrate information from all available sources, including client self-reports, reports from family members, guardian(s) and probation officer, documented medical, treatment history, etc.; Conduct crisis planning with clients. Provide referrals for services and community resources as needed. Work collaboratively with others in relation to the child and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, Wraparound facilitators, school personnel and other family service or support people. Advocate on behalf of the child and family to assist them in meeting their needs and reaching their desired level of self-sufficiency. Assess client satisfaction and participate in program evaluation as needed. Participate in team meetings and case consultations Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and procedures of Child Therapy Lab, LLC. Provide support and psychoeducation to parents and caregivers on behavioral interventions, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and techniques needed to manage behaviors and symptoms and to develop functional skills using behavioral approaches. Must maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment.
