Primary Therapist Emerge Healing Center Alpharetta, GA Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $80,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Qualifications Teamwork Licensed Clinical Social Worker Individual therapy Master's degree Organizational skills Full Job Description About Emerge Healing Center At Emerge Healing Center, we believe meaningful healing begins with compassion, connection, and a genuine commitment to helping people move forward. We are a mental health treatment program in Alpharetta, Georgia, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care, with a specialized focus on PTSD and trauma-related conditions. We strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. Just as importantly, we believe in investing in our team, fostering collaboration, and creating a workplace where clinicians feel valued and supported in the work they do. About the Role We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join our team. This person will play an important role in helping clients navigate mental health challenges, develop meaningful coping skills, and make lasting progress in their recovery. We are looking for someone who brings both clinical knowledge and genuine care to their work—someone who values building therapeutic relationships, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. What You'll Do Provide individual therapy to clients experiencing PTSD, trauma-related conditions, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Facilitate engaging, therapeutic group sessions that promote emotional growth, self-awareness, and practical coping skills. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's needs, goals, and progress. Complete clinical assessments and monitor client progress throughout treatment. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive coordinated, thoughtful, and effective care. Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Support client safety through appropriate risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention when needed. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning to support continuity of care. Help create a welcoming, structured, and supportive treatment environment where clients feel encouraged to engage in the healing process. What We're Looking For A master's degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field. APC license required. LPC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred. Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills. A collaborative approach to treatment and a genuine desire to support clients through difficult seasons of life. Experience working with PTSD, trauma-related conditions, or other complex mental health needs is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a PHP, IOP, or other structured behavioral health setting is preferred. Why Join Emerge Healing Center? We know that meaningful clinical work takes more than clinical expertise. It takes empathy, teamwork, patience, and a willingness to meet people where they are. At Emerge Healing Center, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a team that values compassionate care, clinical excellence, and the meaningful work of helping people heal. We want clinicians who are passionate about their work, invested in their clients, and excited to contribute to a positive and collaborative treatment environment.
