Contract Therapist

JOB SUMMARY

The Greenhouse is a 501c3 Child Advocacy and Sexual Assault Center serving Whitfield and Murray Counties is seeking a contract therapist to provide trauma-focused evidence-based treatment to clients that are victims of abuse and/or their non-offending caregivers. Therapy will be provided onsite or via a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform.

SUPERVISOR

Clinical Director and/or Executive Director The Contract Therapist provides evidence-based, trauma-focused mental health services to children and adults who have experienced abuse, as well as therapeutic support services to non-offending caregivers. Services are provided in coordination with The GreenHouse's multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive response. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to child and/or adult victims of abuse using evidence-based treatment models, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or other appropriate interventions. Provide supportive therapy and education to non-offending caregivers when clinically appropriate. Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards and agency policies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the agency's electronic health record within 24 hours of each session. Participate in monthly clinical supervision and case consultation meetings. Collaborate with advocacy staff, forensic interviewers, and other multidisciplinary team partners to support client care. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including HIPAA. Maintain professional licensure and complete all required continuing education. Perform other related clinical duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field. Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents. Knowledge of child development, trauma, abuse dynamics, and evidence-based trauma treatment. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Position Type This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and professional liability coverage. This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
