Job Description
Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist, where you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to implement evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols in home, school, or community settings. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress for clients while promoting independence and skill development. As an essential part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with behavior analysts, caregivers, and educators to deliver personalized care plans that make a real difference. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols based on client care plans designed by licensed behavior analysts Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in behavioral health interventions Support the safety and well-being of clients during direct behavioral therapy sessions in various settings such as home or school environments Skills Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies effectively Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical records Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health care and documentation standards Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and cooperation during therapy sessions Prior experience working in home-based behavioral settings or school environments is highly desirable Join us to make a positive impact on children's lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral therapy!
