Are you a dedicated and passionate Master Level Intern Therapist looking to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment? Join our team at Progressive and Innovative Counseling where we are committed to nurturing your growth and development as a therapist. The work setting will include in-person sessions at our office as well as virtual sessions. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced therapist who is extremely competent in working with diverse populations and cultural diversity, particularly within the LGBTQIA community.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Participate in treatment planning and case reviews. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Attend clinical supervision and training sessions.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Eligible to pursue licensure as a therapist in Georgia. Strong interpersonal skills and empathy. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or clinical experience in a mental health setting. Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
