Job Overview About Swing Chic Foundation Swing Chic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Making Golf Inclusive . We create opportunities for children and adults of diverse abilities to experience golf in welcoming, supportive environments. As our inclusive golf programming expands, we are building a pool of qualified ABA Therapists and Behavior Support Professionals to support children participating in our autism and inclusive golf programs. This is a unique opportunity to use your behavioral support experience outside of a traditional clinical setting while helping children develop confidence, independence, social interaction, emotional regulation, and a positive connection to recreation. Position Summary The ABA Therapist / Behavior Support Specialist will work alongside golf instructors, program staff, volunteers, parents, and caregivers to help children successfully participate in structured golf activities. This is not a position responsible for providing golf instruction. Your primary role is to help create an environment in which participants can engage, communicate, regulate, transition between activities, and participate as independently as possible. Programs may include multi-week golf sessions, putting experiences, community golf clinics, special events, and other inclusive recreational programming. Key Responsibilities Support children with autism and other developmental or behavioral support needs during golf activities. Assist participants with transitions, communication, attention, emotional regulation, and engagement. Identify potential sensory, environmental, or behavioral barriers to participation. Use positive reinforcement, prompting, visual supports, choice-making, modeling, and other appropriate strategies. Encourage independence rather than completing tasks for participants. Collaborate with golf instructors to adapt the learning environment when appropriate. Help staff recognize signs of sensory overload, frustration, anxiety, or disengagement. Support positive peer interactions and social participation. Communicate respectfully with parents, caregivers, instructors, volunteers, and program leadership. Maintain participant dignity, confidentiality, safety, and appropriate professional boundaries. Assist with basic observations or program feedback used to evaluate participant engagement and program effectiveness. Participate in pre-program orientation or training provided by Swing Chic Foundation. Qualifications Candidates should have experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or diverse behavioral and communication needs.

Preferred backgrounds include:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ABA Therapist/Technician Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Behavior Support Specialist Special Education professional with relevant behavioral experience Comparable training and experience supporting individuals with autism Current

certification is preferred for positions requiring those credentials but may not be required for every program support assignment. Candidates should also demonstrate patience, flexibility, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusion and participant dignity. Golf Experience Is NOT Required You do not need to be a golfer. Swing Chic Foundation will provide orientation to our inclusive golf programming and expectations. We are looking for professionals who can bring expertise in behavioral support, autism, communication, and participant engagement while our golf professionals provide golf instruction.
