Job Description

Iowa Counseling Center is expanding and has openings for full-time mental health providers (LMHC, tLMHC, LMFT, tLMFT or
LISW, LMSW
) at our Cedar Rapids and Ankeny locations. This person needs to be passionate about working as a team to provide our clients with the greatest possible outpatient mental health care. We offer competitive pay, supervision, and in-house training. Our focus is serving the mental health needs of couples, families, individuals. Education and Experience We are seeking applicants meeting the following qualifications: Graduate-level degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Licensed Clinical Psychology (Ph.D.), Licensed Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Licensed Master Social Work (MSW). Licensed or able to complete licensing requirements to provide outpatient therapy services in the state of Iowa (temporarily licensed providers are welcome to apply). Free supervision for those with a temporary license Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans. Have 24 available hours in a given week. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Support patients and families through crisis intervention and ongoing counseling. Stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.
