Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized implementation plans.
• Complete or obtain thorough assessments of a child's developmental strengths and needs.
• Work with a child and their support team to coordinate and ensure that a child's therapy goals are being met.
• Monitor and document the progress of each child and adjust as necessary.
• Have knowledge of Idaho Department of Health and Welfare regulations and assure that those regulations are met.
• Must complete 12 hours of training annually including one (1) hour of ethics and six (6) hours of behavioral methodology of evidence-based interventions.
• To write assessments you must have a minimum of 10 hours of documented training and 5 hours of supervised experience in completing comprehensive assessments and implementation plans. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a human services field or has a bachelor's degree and a minimum of twenty-four (24) semester credits or equivalent in a human services field: special education, education, child development, psychology, or other human services fields and have: o Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the special needs' population.

o Able to document 1040 hours of supervised experience working with children, birth to twenty-one (21) years of age who demonstrate a functional or behavioral need. Currently Chrysalis is planning on serving children 4 - 21. o Meets the competency requirements by completing one of the following: § A Department of Health and Welfare approved competency checklist referenced in the Medicaid Provider Handbook or § A minimum of forty (40) hours of applied behavior analysis training delivered by an individual who is certified or credentials to provide the training or § Other department approved competencies as defined in the Medicaid Provider Handbook.

• Must provide transcripts to Human Resources, this can be done electronically from the institution directly to HR or with a signed/sealed paper copy of said transcripts.
• Another way that you can be approved to be an intervention specialist: o Have a Habilitative Intervention Certificate of Completion in Idaho with an expiration date of July 1, 2019, or later, will be allowed to continue providing services as an intervention specialist as long as there is not a gap of more than three successive years of employment as an intervention specialist.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based strategies and interventions.
• Moderate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attendance
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
• Able to certify in CPR/FA or produce evidence of a current certificate.
• Able to provide a current driver's license and car insurance.
