Job Description

Summary Performs as an independent and interdependent member of the PPG health care team in accordance with the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board. Assumes mental health care of specific patients in collaboration with the physician and nursing staff. Gives specific patient care directions and support to staff. Utilizes therapeutic skills and techniques to assess the psychosocial functioning of patients, intervention strategies, psychoeducation and/or individual, group, marital or family therapy. Education Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other related counseling field. Licensure/Certification CPR required within 30 days of employment. HSPP, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or LMHC required. Employee must be able to bill independently for services rendered. Licensure and certifications must be kept current. Experience 2 years of experience in the mental health field. Other Qualifications Must be able to work flexible hours and days of the week. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and good working knowledge of a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting. Why Parkview?
