Position:
Therapist The Therapist provides trauma-informed therapy and case management services to children and adolescents in residential and/or acute programs. This role works collaboratively with hospitals, schools, mental health centers and community partners to support individualized treatment and successful outcomes for every client. The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, detail-oriented and committed to helping youth and families build on their strengths. Schedule & Environment Full-time opportunity Work directly with children and adolescents in residential and/or acute care settings Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team environment On-call consultation responsibilities as needed What You'll Do Conduct individual, family and group therapy sessions Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans and discharge summaries Provide trauma-informed case management services Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary treatment team Facilitate treatment review meetings with guardians, MCOs and community partners Provide crisis intervention using approved tools and techniques Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with schools, hospitals and external providers to coordinate care Ensure compliance with state, federal and accrediting standards Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for youth Participate in utilization review and insurance reporting as needed Qualifications Education Master's Degree in: Social Work Family Therapy Counseling Degree must be from an accredited institution Licensed to practice in the state(s) where services are provided Licensure/Certification One of the following professional licenses is required:
LMSW LSW LSCSW LCSW LPC LCPC LMFT LCMFT
Or another approved professional clinical license Additional requirements: Valid driver's license Current auto insurance Employees must be at least 21 years of age Experience & Skills Minimum one year of supervised experience providing: Individual therapy Family therapy Group therapy Services to children and/or adolescents Coursework in: Child/adolescent development Individual counseling Family counseling Group counseling Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills Why Join CMCO?
