This role involves working with children, adolescents, and adults in both in-person and telehealth settings. The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with the mission and values of Be More Counseling. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and biopsychosocial intakes to determine client needs and appropriate levels of care. Develop individualized, strength-based, and goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances. Provide individual, family, and group counseling utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, EMDR (if trained), and other psychotherapeutic approaches. Offer crisis intervention, emotional stabilization, and de-escalation support when clinically indicated. Collaborate with other Be More Counseling clinicians, external providers, schools, psychiatrists, and community resources to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and best practice standards. Participate in case consultations, clinical staffing meetings, and professional development opportunities within Be More Counseling. Provide telehealth services when appropriate to increase accessibility and continuity of care for clients. Work with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, substance use concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture consistent with Be More Counseling's values. Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of child, adolescent, and family counseling techniques. Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, school-based, or community mental health settings. Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and managing acute mental health situations. Familiarity with behavioral health assessments, screening tools, and

diagnostic criteria. Ability to conduct thorough intake interviews and develop comprehensive, client-centered treatment plans. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of group therapy dynamics and experience facilitating therapeutic groups is a plus. Understanding of social work and counseling principles related to mental health care, ethics, and client advocacy. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
