Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Substance Use and Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality individual therapy, facilitate substance use disorder group sessions, conduct assessments, and develop collaborative treatment plans. This role is essential in helping clients achieve recovery and long-term wellness in a supportive and structured setting.Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate evidence-based substance use disorder therapy groups (e.g., CBT, DBT, relapse prevention, psychoeducation). Provide individual therapy sessions to clients struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and substance use evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, based on assessment findings and clinical best practices. Monitor client progress and revise treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with licensing and organizational standards. Coordinate care with internal team members and external providers as needed. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field (required). Experience in addiction counseling, including both individual and group therapy. Familiarity withDSM-5, ASAM
criteria, and substance use treatment modalities. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compensation & Benefits:
