Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve overall well-being. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine patient needs and treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Facilitate specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and behavioral therapy for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring timely data collection and medical record updates. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, coordinate case management efforts, and monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance therapeutic techniques and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices.
Requirements Education :
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential preferred.

Eligible candidates holding a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) or Certified Social Worker (CSW) license are highly encouraged to apply and will be provided with/required to maintain approved clinical supervision.
Experience :
Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is highly valued.
Clinical Skills:
Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities including psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology knowledge, and crisis management skills. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes; CPT coding experience is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders; knowledge of special education strategies is advantageous. Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt services for remote delivery while maintaining high-quality patient care. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
