Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide both in-person and virtual services within a school setting in Natchitoches, LA. Positions offer a mix of full-time and part-time engagements with options for contract-to-hire arrangements. Services support reasonable caseloads, with paraprofessional assistance provided, typically focused in a single building to ensure continuity and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed Experience or interest in teletherapy and telespeech services Background working in school environments beneficial Ability to manage caseloads efficiently with paraprofessional collaboration
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs Provide both virtual and in-person therapy sessions based on scheduling and student requirements Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and compliance with regulatory standards Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse learning environments and technologies
