Job Description

Part-Time Behavior Therapist (Community-Based ABA Services) At Connected Kids, we believe every child deserves meaningful support, authentic connection, and opportunities to thrive in everyday life. We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and motivated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Behavior Therapists providing direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in community settings. About the Role As a Behavior Therapist, you will work directly with children with autism and related developmental needs in home and community environments. Using evidence-based ABA strategies, you'll help clients build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while creating positive, engaging experiences. This is a great opportunity for: Psychology, education, social work, or human services students Individuals pursuing careers in ABA, special education, speech therapy, OT, or counseling Experienced BTs, RBTs or those interested in entering the ABA field What You'll Do Provide 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in community and home settings Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Support clients in developing communication, social, self-help, and behavioral skills Collect accurate session data and complete documentation Collaborate with families and clinical supervisors Create a fun, positive, and supportive learning environment Encourage independence and celebrate client progress What We're Looking For Passion for working with children and families Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Ability to remain patient, creative, and adaptable High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or coursework in related fields preferred Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus RBT certification preferred, but not required Schedule & Compensation Part-time flexible scheduling Afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability preferred Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification Paid training and ongoing supervision opportunities Opportunities for professional growth within the ABA field Why Join Connected Kids?
