Essential Job Functions Meet with clients for counseling and maintain a client caseload (available options for visits include in-office and virtually through telehealth). Conduct intakes and psychosocial assessments. Diagnose symptoms and recommend appropriate interventions. Complete clinical documentation per agency standards, government policies, and CARF requirements.

Required Skills:

Ability to deliver quality of care in line with the local, state, and federal government laws. Ability to deliver quality of care in line with the policies and expectations of accreditation bodies such as CARF. Proficient understanding of professionally accepted interventions and evidence-based practices. Excellent interpersonal and therapeutic skills to build and maintain rapport with clients.

Basic Qualifications Education:

Masters degree in

Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Experience:

At least one year practicing as a Mental Health Therapist. Licensed in the state of Maryland.

License/Certifications:

Must be Licensed in the State of Maryland as a Counselor (LGPC or LCPC), Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LGMFT or LCMFT) Current American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR certification.
