full-time About Montgomery County Counseling Center, LLC At Montgomery County Counseling Center, our goal is to provide exceptional therapy services for the whole family while building a thriving, values-aligned practice where clinicians feel supported, seen, and empowered to do transformational work. We believe that high-quality care can be sustainable, accessible, and deeply human, and we use research-based counseling models to provide relationship-informed, systemically minded therapy. Clients and their family members are able to access care in one place, creating opportunities for healing that strengthen individuals, families, communities, and generations. Our collaborative team approach is rare to find in an outpatient private practice. Because we value connection and collaboration, we strive to maintain strong relationships within our team and with outside providers, working together to deliver the highest quality care possible. Guided by our commitment to Authenticity, Connection, Integrity, Reciprocity, and Stability, we are dedicated to creating an environment where both clients and staff can thrive. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a clinician who is self-driven, direct, and genuinely invested in doing good work with kids and the families raising them. The ideal candidate brings training, or a real interest in developing training, in evidence-based approaches to child and adolescent therapy, including RPT, PCIT, CBT, DBT, or EMDR, and is comfortable working with parents as part of the treatment picture, not around it. You hold healthy professional boundaries, communicate clearly, and treat learning as part of the job, not just a box to check. You are affirming of all people and all family structures, without exception. Active Maryland licensure in a counseling field is required. Additional licensure in DC or Virginia is a plus.
