ABA Therapist - Help Us Launch ABA Services at S2TA Something 2 Talk About, Inc. (S2TA) is expanding! We are a pediatric therapy practice in Lanham, Maryland , currently providing Speech Therapy (ST), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Music Therapy (MT) . We are looking for an experienced ABA Therapist/BCBA who is interested in helping us develop and launch ABA services as an additional service line at our clinic. Position Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for an ABA professional who wants to be part of building a new ABA program from the ground up within an established pediatric therapy practice. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently , provide high-quality ABA services to children and families, and assist with developing the systems and clinical structure needed to successfully introduce ABA at S2TA. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based ABA services to pediatric clients, including children with autism and developmental disabilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavior-support strategies Conduct assessments and monitor client progress Collect and analyze data to guide treatment decisions Collaborate with S2TA's Speech, Occupational, and Music Therapy providers Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers and other members of the child's care team Assist with establishing ABA policies, procedures, documentation systems, and clinical workflows Help develop and grow the ABA program as services are launched Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet all applicable Maryland and insurance requirements Work independently while collaborating with the S2TA leadership team Qualifications Current Maryland certification/licensure required Valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent credentialing body Experience working with children with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional assessment techniques, and behavior intervention strategies Proven experience conducting behavioral health assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Must be able to practice independently in Maryland Experience working with pediatric clients, particularly children with autism/developmental disabilities Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently Excellent communication and documentation skills Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a new ABA service line Why S2TA?
