Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide expert counseling, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to support individuals across diverse populations. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and developmental disabilities, fostering positive change and resilience. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews to determine individual needs and treatment goals Deliver evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and art therapy to individuals and groups Provide specialized counseling for addiction, trauma (including PTSD), gender issues, and crisis intervention situations Manage case documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records, progress notes, and treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure seamless service delivery for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Facilitate family and child counseling sessions to support holistic healing and development Engage in data collection efforts to monitor treatment effectiveness and improve service quality through ongoing evaluation Skills Proven experience in home & community care settings with a strong understanding of social work principles Expertise in medical terminology, medical documentation, and managing confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards Skilled in applied behavior analysis (ABA), crisis management, conflict resolution, and behavior management techniques Proficient in conducting patient care activities including mental health counseling, diagnostic evaluation, and case management Strong background in working with children, individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental delays Knowledgeable about addiction counseling methods, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and special education strategies Excellent communication skills for individual/group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and psychotherapy Join us to empower individuals through compassionate care, innovative therapies, and dedicated support. Pay:
$40.00 - $70.00 per hour
