This position will primarily be school-based from Pocomoke, MD schools. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals and groups, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to create a supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and challenges. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address clients' mental health needs. Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and progress. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, addiction counseling, and psychotherapy. Address gender issues and provide support for clients facing related challenges. Engage in clinical research to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Facilitate applied behavior analysis techniques as needed for specific client cases. Skills Strong background in behavioral health practices. Proficient in medical documentation and record-keeping. Experience with gender issues counseling and addiction counseling. Knowledge of art therapy methods and their application in treatment. Ability to conduct effective psychotherapy sessions tailored to individual needs. Skilled in individual group counseling dynamics and techniques. Familiarity with clinical research methodologies related to mental health.
