Job Description

Potomac Pediatrics is seeking a passionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who can provide compassionate and collaborative care to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5-21). This position will work closely with our staff Psychiatrist and the patient's Pediatrician within our Primary Care Psychiatry model. Therapy services are primarily individual therapy with opportunity for family and group therapy. This position will be insurance credentialed with the major commercial payors in the DC Metro area. Therapy services will be exclusive to primary care patients of the practice. Please note, this is NOT a remote position.
Qualified candidates will possess:
MA/MS degree from an accredited school of psychology, social work, professional counseling, or related field of study Active licensure in the State of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Two - Three years' experience in a pediatric outpatient setting is preferred but will consider all applicants Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family and Group therapy, and/or related psychological framework Experience and ability to offer with Exposure Therapy highly preferred Ability to serve on an interdisciplinary team and provide insight into treatment goals and modalities
Hours:
