Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychotherapist with licensure as an LCSW-C, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy and clinical counseling, with experience working with diverse populations and those experiencing co-occurring disorders. This role involves delivering high-quality mental health services through individual, group, and family therapy modalities, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote client well-being and recovery. Duties Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs. Provide individual, and group therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety and stability. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical documentation and records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with complex needs, and co-occuring disorders. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance evidence-based practices within the organization. Maintain professional development by staying current with advances in mental health counseling, ICD coding updates, and behavioral health trends. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-informed care. Proficiency in motivational interviewing and crisis intervention methods for diverse populations. Strong background working with individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities—and those receiving inpatient or outpatient care. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-10). Experience delivering telehealth therapy services while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria and ICD coding for accurate case documentation. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively across individual or group settings; adept at managing complex cases involving co-occurring disorders. Demonstrated ability to work within clinical ethical guidelines while providing patient-centered care that emphasizes evidence-based practices.
