Job Description

Job Summary Unidos Healing Counseling is a Latina-owned, trauma-informed private practice dedicated to serving the Hispanic/Latino community and other diverse, underserved populations. Unidos is seeking a compassionate and motivated Trauma-Focused Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapist (LGPC or LCPC) to join our growing clinical team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed care, developmental and attachment-based approaches, and providing culturally responsive support to children, adolescents, and families. The clinician will provide outpatient psychotherapy under supervision, working with youth and caregivers impacted by trauma, family stress, adjustment challenges, and emotional or behavioral concerns. This position offers a supportive and mission-driven environment that values professional growth, ethical practice, and meaningful clinical work rooted in cultural awareness and community connection. Duties Provide trauma-informed individual therapy to children, adolescents, and families Conduct clinical intakes, risk assessments, and ongoing treatment planning Utilize evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, DBT-informed, attachment-based, and family systems approaches) Collaborate with caregivers to support parenting skills, emotional regulation, and family communication Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Maryland licensing standards If LGPC, participate in weekly clinical supervision toward LCPC licensure and engage in ongoing professional development Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide crisis intervention when appropriate Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards, including mandated reporting requirements Experience Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling Active Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC or LCPC) in the state of Maryland (required) Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families, preferably in trauma-informed or community-based settings Familiarity with evidence-based trauma treatments such as TF-CBT, DBT-informed, attachment-based, or family systems approaches Experience conducting intakes, risk assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Experience working with diverse, multicultural, and underserved populations Spanish-speaking or bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged
