Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic mental health and social services team as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LLMSW (Licensed Limited Licensed Master Social Worker) in a rewarding clinical environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and coordinate care to diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, PTSD, addiction issues, and complex medical needs. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and Christian counseling when appropriate. Manage case coordination by collaborating with healthcare providers, community agencies, and educational teams to ensure holistic patient care. Document all clinical interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Engage in clinical research activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting to support program development and quality improvement initiatives. Offer specialized support for patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, or disabilities by applying relevant therapeutic techniques such as applied behavior analysis or special education strategies. Respond effectively to crisis situations involving PTSD or behavioral health emergencies through crisis management protocols. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Strong background working with children and families in clinical or home/community settings; familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Knowledge of medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and mental health care. Ability to utilize EMR systems efficiently for documentation and data collection; experience with research activities is advantageous. Excellent case management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary services across hospital settings or community-based programs. Competence in crisis intervention strategies for individuals experiencing trauma or acute psychiatric episodes. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder; experience in pediatric or geriatrics populations is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
