Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Clinical Therapists (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC) to join our team working in a school setting in Genesee County. The Clinical Therapist works with the team in developing and managing treatment plans for child and adolescent patients of the School Wellness Program. Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs between the school, health center and community to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals. Monday - Friday Perks No nights, weekends or holidays Summers off PTO Retention bonus Paid CEU opportunities Summer school opportunities Health + Dental Insurance Access Duties Intensive Individual Treatment - conducts clinical evaluations to determine appropriate treatment, individual therapy, didactic group therapy and family therapy. Diagnosis (using DSM-5) Psychosocial Assessments Suicide Risk Assessments Depression Screenings Develops individual treatment plans and reviews 90 days or as needed/indicated Provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in children, adolescents and young adults in the school-based health center setting. Maintains regular contact with referral sources, courts and family members to plan for treatment goals and aftercare. Works with schools to develop programs. Qualifications A degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling is required Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC) Experience in social work settings Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of community resources We encourage passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
