We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. We are seeking a Psychiatric Services Clinician to provide support to clients and the Psychiatric Services staff of the Williow Clinic. The Psychiatric Services Clinician supports the daily function of the clinic and meet the complex needs of the clients. Support through chart prep, discharge planning, screenings, and referral services. All activities will take place either face-to-face or by phone. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no weekend, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503 with occasional local travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapist. Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire. At least one year of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders. Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment. Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills. Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued. Fully licensed MSW, Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist. At least three years postgraduate experience working with individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Bilingual English/Spanish.
