This bonus will be provided upon completion of a probationary period.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Children's Urgent Care Coordinator, staff serves as a mental health clinician providing short term (4-8 weeks), urgent stabilization therapy services for youth and families who are at risk of needing higher levels of care for mental health treatment. Smaller caseload in order to meet intensive need. Interventions include homebased therapy, case management, referrals, intensive crisis and safety planning and follow-up. Other duties include consultation and collaboration with service providers and case documentation. Services are provided in the community and consumers home. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required or must be obtained within60 days of application. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required, or must have applied for and be able to obtain within 60 days of hire. One year of experience (professional or paraprofessional) in the examination, evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with Severe Emotional Disturbance and their families required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Candidate must be able to work well with others. Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and aces to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.
Conditional Employment Requirement:
Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and central registry clearance.

Salary/Hours:
$31.92

75 per hour with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a hourly rate of $41.50 per hour . 40 hours per week. M-F 8-5pm with some evening hours.
