Shift Incentive:
+ $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm- 12am | + $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm

Under the guidance of the Crisis Services Coordinator, this position entails serving as a master's level professional clinician who provides a comprehensive array of direct and indirect mental health and substance abuse services within a collaborative team environment. The primary focus is to deliver immediate crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorders. The clinician will operate both in an office setting and within the community as required. Collaboration with community partners is essential to determine suitable treatment options for stabilization, along with the provision of follow-up care, ensuring continuous communication takes place. This role includes the responsibility for thorough case documentation. The clinician evaluates challenging behaviors and emotional trauma through interviews and observations of consumers, as well as by reviewing records and developing a concise crisis intervention plan based on a strength-based approach. Additionally, the clinician is accountable for executing all activities of the sub-unit in a manner that aligns with CMHA-CEI's mission, policies, and procedures.Requirements:
Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or related field is required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. Four years' experience in crisis intervention and community mental health required. Must be able to complete extensive documentation within electronic records. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.Conditional Employment Requirements:
Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening, verification of an acceptable driving record, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history.
