Job Description

Full-time Year Round School Based Mental Health Therapist - located in Holt High School Responsibilities
  • Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy, education, advocacy, referrals, and service coordination, to students and families identified by Holt Schools, to a minimum caseload of 50 unduplicated clients per year.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services with a trauma-focused approach and screen for ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) or use other approved screening tools.
  • Use trauma-informed, motivational enhancement, and cognitive behavioral therapy models.
  • Screen for suicide risk and provide appropriate safety planning and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation within required timeframes and in the program's established format. Comply with all agency and contractual requirements for case record maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Child and Family Charities administration and Holt administrative and Student Support staff to develop innovative programming that helps students and families access care.
  • Receive, track, and follow through on student referrals from the point of referral through service initiation or appropriate closure of the referral process.
  • Use technology platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Doxy.me, and EMR effectively.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with individuals and organizations serving the target population, including referral sources and community partners.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with federal and state regulations and ethical standards in the field.
  • Deliver all therapy and telehealth services at Holt High School's main campus.
  • Participate in individual clinical supervision, clinical team meetings, and ongoing professional training activities. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work or counseling.
  • Limited license required, full licensure preferred; supervision for licensure will be provided.
  • At least one year of applicable experience in assessment and therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, and families required.
  • At least one year of direct mental health therapy experience is preferred.
  • Experience providing manual-based therapy and addressing trauma is a plus.
Hours :
37.5 hours per week; some evenings may be required based on client need.
Pay:
$47,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
