LMSW Therapist - Child & Family Mental Health Healing Connections | Plymouth, Michigan Healing Connections is seeking a compassionate, creative, and collaborative Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our growing private practice in Plymouth, Michigan. We specialize in providing child-centered, trauma-informed therapy that meets children and families where they are. Our practice incorporates child-centered play therapy, expressive arts, sand tray therapy, family therapy, parent coaching, and Animal-Assisted Play Therapy. We are looking for an LMSW who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families and wants to grow within a supportive private-practice environment. What You'll Do Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on your areas of interest and experience Utilize developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed interventions Incorporate play, expressive arts, sand tray, CBT, and other evidence-based approaches as appropriate Support children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, family transitions, divorce, grief, and other emotional challenges Provide parent guidance and support when clinically appropriate Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and other professionals as needed Complete timely clinical documentation and treatment plans Maintain ethical and professional standards of practice Participate in consultation and supervision as appropriate Build and maintain a caseload that aligns with your clinical interests and availability We Would Love to Meet You If You Are An LMSW in the State of Michigan Passionate about working with children and families Comfortable or interested in learning child-centered play therapy Creative, flexible, and relationship-focused Trauma-informed and committed to meeting clients where they are Comfortable working independently while also valuing a collaborative team Interested in developing your clinical identity and growing your skills Experience with play therapy, expressive arts, trauma, neurodivergent children, family therapy, or Animal-Assisted Therapy is a plus, but not required.
