Onsite, center-based autism therapy program Position Overview Are you passionate about helping children reach their greatest potential? We are seeking compassionate and energetic Behavior Therapists to support young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this role, you will provide one-on-one and small-group therapy in a structured, center-based healthcare environment. Previous ABA experience is preferred but not required. New team members receive a paid two-week training program, ongoing coaching, professional development opportunities, and support from an assigned mentor. Responsibilities Provide direct therapy to an assigned team of four to six clients under clinical supervision. Follow individualized treatment plans and help clients work toward behavioral, communication, learning, and daily-living goals. Apply ABA techniques and structured teaching strategies provided through training. Observe, monitor, redirect, and respond appropriately to client behaviors. Accurately collect data and complete daily treatment notes and progress documentation. Communicate client progress and concerns to supervisors and other appropriate team members. Collaborate professionally with parents, coworkers, supervisors, and clinical staff. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and privacy requirements. Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, toileting, hygiene, and mealtime needs. Organize and clean client spaces and equipment while helping maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Participate in required training, meetings, coaching, and professional-development activities. Accept feedback and follow clinical and supervisory direction. Demonstrate consistency, dependability, sound judgment, and professional conduct. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years of age. Interest in working directly with children with autism and other special needs. Playful, patient, enthusiastic, and able to bring positive energy to therapy sessions. Ability to read treatment instructions, collect numerical data, and write clear progress notes. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday. Ability to assist clients with personal-care needs. Ability to successfully complete initial and ongoing background checks. Preferred Qualifications Previous behavioral therapy, ABA, childcare, education, healthcare, or direct-support experience. Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, human services, child development, or a related field. Experience supporting children with autism or other developmental needs. Knowledge of Verbal Behavior Therapy or related teaching procedures. Compensation The hourly pay range is $20.00-$33.12. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
