COMPENSATION
Clinical Trainee starts at $55,000, (based on clinical hours) Mental Health Professional starts at $70,000
SCHEDULE Full Time:
Monday - Friday, schedule aligns with school hours CMMHC has a rewarding opportunity to serve as a School Linked Mental Health (SLMH) Clinical Trainee or Therapist for Howard Lake and Maple Lake K-12. WHAT IS SCHOOL-LINKED MENTAL HEALTH?
This school-based mental health program partners with local school districts to provide accessible, in-school mental health services for students up to 12th grade. By embedding services within the school environment, the program reduces barriers to care and fosters collaboration with educators and community systems. Mental health professionals deliver direct support, design classroom toolkits, and participate in school-wide interventions to improve student outcomes and reduce behavioral referrals. Clinicians work closely with school staff to respond to students' needs in real-time throughout the school day.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Duties include but are not limited to: Develop and cultivate relationships with school sites and community members to expand and maintain school-linked collaborative efforts.

Provide medically necessary services in appropriate settings, including the family when possible.

Develop and maintain therapeutic rapport with parents and care providers to allow for improved client or student functioning.

Attend school conferences and school functions to provide psychoeducation and information on school-linked services.

Collaborate with care providers, social workers, outside agencies, and school staff.
