full-time Company Description AHA Mental Health is a local mental health center dedicated to providing quality care for children, teens, and adults. Our services include individual, couple, and family therapy, ensuring that we address a wide range of mental health needs. Clients have the flexibility to receive care either in-office or online, making therapy accessible and convenient. We are committed to creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and personal growth. Role Description This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a Therapist located in Lees Summit, MO. The Therapist will work with clients based on the ages and types of clients they recruit and want to work with. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, maintaining documentation, and self marketing. Qualifications Experience in providing individual, couple, and family therapy (or under supervision) Strong skills in conducting client assessments and creating customized treatment plans Proficiency in maintaining clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA and regulatory guidelines Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent in Missouri or under supervision Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Strong ethical judgment, collaboration skills, and a client-centered approach This is in independent contractor position where you will get to set your hours (coordinating office times with other therapists) and/or offering telehealth either in office or from home. You will be responsible for marketing and attacking the types of clients you want to work with. Some therapists only see a few clients a week, and we have full time availability as well. You can decide to be self-pay only, or take commercial insurance (if fully licensed). We provide credentialling and insurance billing.
FUTURE OPTION
Independent Contractors who are able to establish a caseload can become employees, which can qualify you for Federal Student Loan Repayment plans with HRSA.
