Job Description

Job Summary Best Life ABA is now hiring RBTs! A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children by implementing treatment plans designed by a BCBA. They collect accurate data, support skill development, and assist with behavior reduction using evidence-based strategies. RBTs maintain professionalism, follow ethical guidelines, and work closely with families to promote positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA. Collect accurate, real-time data on all targeted behaviors and skill goals. Follow all treatment protocols with fidelity to ensure consistency and progress. Assist in behavior reduction strategies using ethical, evidence-based ABA practices. Maintain open, compassionate, and professional communication with families. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development. Document session notes and required reports in compliance with company, state, and funding source standards. Ethical Practice Expectations RBTs at Best Life ABA are expected to: Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code. Maintain professional boundaries at all times. Protect confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Use reinforcement-based, least-restrictive interventions. Report concerns, incidents, or potential ethical violations promptly. Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and respect in all interactions.

Creating a positive and engaging environment that fosters learning and success. Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required). Training to prepare for the RBT exam is available for those seeking the certification. High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental differences preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check and meet all compliance requirements. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Work Environment Sessions occur in clinics, and on occasion, in a community setting. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 25 lbs, active play, and safely managing challenging behaviors.
