INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
THERAPIST- Part-Time Are you passionate about serving individuals across the lifespan? Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered, integrated care with purpose and integrity. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist committed to clinical excellence and supporting the wellness of patients of all ages. We are seeking an IBHT that is available to work three (3) full days for 24 to 28 hours weekly. This role provides comprehensive behavioral health services within an integrated primary care environment, including assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and solution-focused, evidence‑based therapeutic interventions. The therapist collaborates closely with primary care providers (PCPs), behavioral health staff, and the broader interdisciplinary team. Location WNCCHS Minnie Jones Health Center 257 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 Key Responsibilities- Includes, but is not limited to the following: Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment Planning Therapeutic Interventions Crisis Intervention & Safety Support Care Coordination & Integrated Support Patient & Caregiver Education Documentation & Professional Standards Qualifications & Preferred Experience Master's degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling. Fully licensed with LCSW or dually licensed with LCMHC and LCAS. Experience providing behavioral health services in primary care, integrated care, and/or community health settings. Experience functioning as a Behavioral Health Care Manager within the Psychiatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM). Experience completing clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence‑based therapeutic interventions. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and integrated care teams. Skills Skilled at working in fast‑paced environments and maintaining professionalism under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and a diverse healthcare team. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities with high attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook). Collaborative, team‑focused communication style with the ability to work effectively across clinical and community settings. Working knowledge of medical office operations and familiarity with the role of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) within the community.
