Job Description

Full-Time Position Renewed Beginnings Home, Inc. Position Summary Renewed Beginnings Home, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) or Provisionally Licensed Therapist to provide therapeutic services to adolescent females residing in our Level III therapeutic group homes. This position serves four group home locations and requires regular travel, including travel to locations approximately one hour outside of Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate must be passionate about working with youth experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges and be willing to travel between homes to provide therapy, clinical consultation, crisis intervention, and treatment team support.
Essential Qualifications Required:
Fully Licensed or Provisionally Licensed in North Carolina (LCMHC-A, LCSWA, LMFTA, LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent) Valid North Carolina Driver's License Reliable transportation and proof of insurance Willingness and ability to travel to all group home locations Ability to pass background and credentialing requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Experience working with children, adolescents, or residential treatment programs Experience conducting individual, family, and group therapy Knowledge of North Carolina mental health service requirements Job Responsibilities Clinical Services Provide individual therapy services to residents in each group home. Complete clinical assessments as needed. Develop and update treatment recommendations. Coordinate therapeutic interventions that support each resident's Person-Centered Plan. Collaborate with guardians, care coordinators, schools, and community providers. Group Home Coverage Provide a minimum of 4 clinical service hours per month at each assigned group home location . Ensure consistent therapeutic presence and engagement within each home. Assist in creating a trauma-informed therapeutic environment. Clinical Supervision Provide a minimum of 1 hour of monthly supervision/consultation with each Qualified Professional (QP) assigned to the homes. Review treatment goals, progress, barriers, and interventions. Offer clinical guidance regarding resident behaviors, treatment planning, and documentation. Child and Family Team (CFT) Participation Attend and actively participate in monthly Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings. Provide clinical updates and recommendations during meetings. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuity of care. Crisis Intervention Respond to crisis situations as needed. Provide crisis de-escalation support and clinical consultation. Assist staff with intervention strategies during behavioral health emergencies. Make recommendations regarding hospitalization, higher levels of care, or safety planning when clinically appropriate. Documentation Complete all clinical documentation within required timeframes. Maintain accurate and timely therapy notes, treatment recommendations, and supervision records. Ensure compliance with Medicaid, state, and agency regulations. Team Collaboration Participate in clinical staffing meetings. Provide training and support to residential staff when needed. Work collaboratively with Directors, Assistant Directors, QPs, and Direct Care Staff. Travel Requirements This position requires travel between four group home locations, including locations approximately one hour outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Travel is considered an essential function of this position.
Non-Negotiable Requirement:
Applicants must be willing and able to travel to all assigned group home locations.
