Job Description

Position Summary 2 hires - 1 to do Evening IOP during the week, 1 to do weekend programming 8-10 hours per week. May lead to more hours or full time. Provides integrated mental health and substance use services to individuals experiencing psychiatric and substance use disorders, with specialized expertise in . Serves clients as a full member of a patient-centered behavioral health team dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving stability, recovery, and long-term wellness. Specializes in group therapy and integrative therapy. Delivers counseling, referrals, care coordination, and psychoeducation across the continuum of care. Functions as an integral member of the interprofessional, patient-centered team, collaborating to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Serves as a key resource to patients and team members on matters related to mental health, substance use, and lifestyle factors that support optimal functioning and recovery. Primary Responsibilities
  • Completes individual, group and family psychotherapy.
  • Works as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Works in conjunction with Psychiatrist to provide therapy to adults and adolescents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Provides individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment interventions and modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Provides education to patients and families about psychiatric and substance use illnesses, recovery, relevant post-treatment services available to clients in their local communities Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team sharing relevant clinical information and devising specific, individualized treatment goals and interventions. Involves clients and families, as appropriate, in all aspects of their care including treatment planning and aftercare coordination Provides accurate and consistent documentation of client care/response in the medical record. Works with professionalism and respect with all clients, families, colleagues, supervisors, and visitors of HopeWay. Performs other duties as assigned.
