In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their mental health goals through evidence-based practices. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care in both outpatient and telehealth settings, ensuring clients receive the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and other evidence-based interventions. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and behavioral change. Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage urgent situations effectively while maintaining client safety and stability. Document all clinical interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and ICD coding updates. Requirements Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field; licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent required. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and addiction counseling. Proficiency in crisis management, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, grief counseling, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders or disabilities; Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using clinical counseling techniques; experience with inpatient/outpatient settings preferred. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; knowledge of HIPAA compliance essential.
