Child Therapist

Are you a compassionate and dedicated therapist that is dedicated to address the emotional , social, and behavioral issues that affect young children? Bowman Family Services is a dynamic, wellness and client-centered private practice that is currently seeking Fully Licensed Therapists to join our team. We welcome therapists who have an interest in working with children ages 4 and up. Therapists equipped to provide evidence-based interventions to meet the individualized needs of children is desired. Therapists willing to be licensed across other states would be a plus. Additionally, specific training in aspects of Play Therapy, EMDR and IFS is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Experience in working with young children, ages 4 years of age and up, using play therapy techniques (ex., doll and puppet play, art therapy, role-playing, bibliotherapy). Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress. Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals as needed. Participate in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Current state licensure as a Therapist (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent). Experience working in a private practice setting preferred. Experience working with young children and their families. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse populations. Commitment to high educational standards, ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
