Job Description

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist — LCSWA or LCSW Evolution Wellness - 3.5 Wilmington, NC Job Details Full-time $39 - $50 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Master's degree in social work Master's degree Full Job Description You became a therapist to make a difference—not to spend your time worrying about billing, credentialing, or building a caseload on your own. At Evolution Wellness, our goal is to give clinicians the support, resources, and community they need to focus on providing excellent care while building a career they love. Evolution Wellness is a thriving private outpatient mental health practice in Wilmington, North Carolina. We work with individuals, couples, families, and teens navigating concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We're looking for a compassionate, collaborative LCSWA or LCSW to join our growing team.
Why You'll Love Working Here A Team That Supports You:
We really value having a supportive, collaborative environment where clinicians can ask questions, consult with one another, and feel like they're part of a team.
Strong Administrative Support:
We have a dedicated administrative team that handles billing, insurance verification, credentialing, intake coordination, and scheduling support. We want our clinicians spending their time being clinicians—not trying to figure out insurance claims or manage all of the behind-the-scenes pieces of running a practice.
An Established Referral Network:
We've worked hard to build strong relationships in the Wilmington community and continue to actively market the practice. Our team helps connect new clients with clinicians so you aren't expected to build a caseload entirely on your own. Room to Build the
Caseload You Want:
Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain at least 25 completed sessions per week, but 25 doesn't have to be the limit. Clinicians who want to see more clients are welcome to offer additional availability and build a larger caseload.
No On-Call Responsibilities:
We believe clinicians should be able to leave work at work. There are no on-call responsibilities, and we want our team to have a schedule that is manageable long-term. Opportunities to
Grow:
We support continuing education and professional development and love seeing clinicians grow in their areas of interest. There are also opportunities for mentorship, leadership, and greater involvement within the practice. Support for
LCSWAs:
Clinical supervision opportunities are available for LCSWAs working toward independent licensure, along with ongoing consultation and support from experienced clinicians.
Benefits:
Full-time clinicians receive health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and continuing education support. What You'll Be Doing Conduct intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based outpatient therapy based on each client's needs and goals. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes within 24 hours. Participate in team meetings and clinical consultation. Work collaboratively with our clinical and administrative teams. Maintain professionalism in interactions with clients, colleagues, referral partners, and the community. Schedule & Caseload Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain a schedule that supports a minimum of approximately 25 completed sessions per week. Clinicians who would like to maintain a larger caseload are welcome to offer additional availability. We know that building a caseload takes time. Our administrative and marketing teams work alongside our clinicians to help connect them with new clients and build a consistent schedule. What You Bring Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program. Active North Carolina LCSWA or LCSW license. Previous outpatient therapy experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply. Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical client care. Comfortable working with clients across the practice's insurance and private-pay payer mix. A collaborative approach and interest in being part of a team. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. What Makes Evolution Different Private practice doesn't have to mean practicing alone. We want our clinicians to have the independence and flexibility they enjoy about private practice while still having a team behind them. That means having people to turn to for consultation, an administrative team to help with the day-to-day details, referrals to help build your caseload, and colleagues who genuinely want to see you succeed. We're looking for someone who values kindness, accountability, collaboration, and excellent client care. More than anything, we're hoping to find someone who wants to be part of the team and build a long-term home at Evolution Wellness. Learn more about Evolution Wellness at evolutionwellnessnc.com.
