Job Description
Job Summary The Beauty in Healing is seeking to hire dedicated School-based Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy to individuals, families, and/or groups, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to client needs. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to evidence-based and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities Provide outpatient therapy (individual, family, and/or group sessions). Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and state standards. Deliver evidence-based interventions to support client mental health and wellness. Collaborate with Community resources to include psychiatrists, case managers, primary care providers, and/or school counselors. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision.
Required Education and Qualification:
- Master's degree in human services related area (i.e. professional counseling, marriage & family therapy, social work).
- Current NC State Licensure (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA)
- Previous work experience in mental health settings; Experience providing children and adult clinical services and functioning as a therapist in a mental health agency is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active in NC Tracks
- Previous training or experience in working with children &/or families
- Previous training or experience in TF-CBT, Play Therapy, &/or
CBT, DBT
