This position is for a bilingual part-time Behavioral Health Therapist- provisionally and fully licensed providers are available. Do you thrive in a supportive environment? Would you like to expand your knowledge as a clinician and an involved community member? Family Service is the place for you! Must be Bilingual Speaking for this position What we offer: School schedule with no evenings or weekends. $25 per month gym reimbursement Employee assistance program Professional development opportunities and training budget On-site, consistent small group and individual supervision for provisionally licensed providers non profit organization What we ask: Provide individual and/or family therapy to clients as assigned. May develop and manage education and mental health groups (general or specific topics). Document and manage the client case files. Complete assessments, treatment plans, and documentation of services. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Refer clients to internal or external services as needed. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with community stakeholders. Get involved in community activities/organizations that promote the agency, its staff, and the provision of needed services for clients. Embrace and display sensitivity relative to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the agency's service population.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Able to offer support and services to various range of clients. Must be organized, reliable, and flexible. Knowledgeable in therapeutic approaches and practices. Able to work with multiple teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree required in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, community counseling, or other field of related work.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS
Provisional or Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP or LMHP) or LMHP eligible.
